Inter-League Tournaments

All teams participating in Top Gun leagues during the season, regardless of their win/loss record, are invited to Top Gun's Southern California Inter-League Tournament following the end of the season. Top Gun tournaments are unique - the game rules mirror those of league play, and teams are allowed to carry full 12-man rosters. All games are played at a central location. This is a terrific, inexpensive opportunity for teams to participate in a tournament, and they're guaranteed scheduling for three games their first day.

Teams from all our leagues in Southern California are pooled, then at the discretion of Top Gun, teams are split into divisions based on each team's skill level (Competitive, Recreational, Weekend Warrior). An initial round-robin game format is followed the first day, where each team gets to play three games. Based on win/loss records, half the teams will advance to a second series of single elimination games on Day 2. Top teams in each division may play as many as six or seven games! Winning teams receive tournament awards and recognition in our future league mailings.

At this tournament, players who have demonstrated exceptional talent or top skills during the season are recognized with "Top Gunner" awards. Players selected for recognition awards may be from any Top Gun league location.
